This center serves as a space for a one-person contemporary dance performance. In order to bring as much light as possible to illuminate the main spaces, the studio is oriented towards the east for soft morning light while the stage is open to the south for the strong afternoon light. These spaces overlap to create the private living corridor in between. By turning the garden into additional seating for the audience, the performance can be experienced by directly entering the building or leisurely down the garden steps.
